French Chamber of Commerce holds fruitful B2B meetings between Egyptian, French companies

CAIRO - 22 July 2020: The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Egypt has organized Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings between Egyptian and French companies via E-mission service which is provided by the chamber to enable Egyptian companies producing fruits and vegetables to export their crops to France.

These meetings aim to promote economic relations between Egypt and France amid the current difficult circumstances and efforts to combat COVID-19 epidemic.

This initiative was launched by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry to restore the import and export activity in the current stage via enabling Egyptian and French companies to communicate with each other via video conference, the French chamber said in a press statement on Wednesday.

Some 56 B2B meetings were held between 15 Egyptian and French companies as part of the initiative and achieved great success, the chamber added.

The Egyptian and French companies expressed their appreciation for the initiative which resulted in fruitful deals between the two sides.

Managing Director of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Egypt Hassan Behnam expressed his satisfaction about the results of these meetings.

The chamber decided to organize further video-conference meetings in light of the French companies’ keenness on purchasing Egyptian crops in particular and products in general, mainly in the fields of textile and paper, among others, he said.
